West Drayton Mountain Bike Club event

THE West Drayton Mountain Bike Club promote their fifth cross country mountain bike race at the popular Black Park Country Park near to Slough on March 15.

The racing will be around a three mile circuit of forest trails and twisting single track at this popular country park. All ages and standards are catered for at the event with races catering from under 10s to over 50s, from expert to absolute beginners there are classes for everyone male and female.

This is an ideal race to test your fitness and have fun on your mountain bike at a circuit suited to novice riders with a generous prize list, refreshments and good parking available. No licence or club affiliation required just a mountain bike and a crash helmet.

Hays opens doors for jobseekers

Hays Construction & Property, the UK's leading specialist recruitment consultancy, is opening its Heathrow office to the public in response to the continued demand from local jobseekers.

The office on Cromer Road in Heathrow will open its doors on January 13 from 8am-8pm and welcome local people looking for a new job in the construction and property sector.

Jobseekers will be able to speak to experienced consultants based in the area who are trained to advise and manage their job search

RESIDENTS can kick start a new health regime with dance classes in West Drayton and Uxbridge.

Dance organisation Ceroc is running the lessons which involve a mixture of swing and salsa moves.

The drop-in classes are at West Drayton Community centre on Mondays and in the Middlesex Suite at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge, on Thursdays.
