A JEALOUS boyfriend who pulled a fake gun on his partner's ex has been jailed for two years.

John Michael Mullally, 31, of Mulberry Parade, West Drayton was sentenced at Reading Crown Court last month (18/2) after being found guilty of making threats to kill using a firearm.

He committed the offence last March after driving his girlfriend to the home of her ex-partner in Langley, Berskhire to collect her property.

He become angry at the amount of time she was spending inside the house and pulled a gun from his belt pointing it at the window.

The weapon was later found to be an imitation firearm.

DC Richard Jarvis said: "This was a serious offence that caused fear to the victim and other residents at the address, the use of firearms will not be tolerated."
