Firefighters tackle Rutters Close blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were rushed to attend a blaze last night (Sunday) at a range of derelict houses in West Drayton which took over two hours to bring under control.

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters attended the fire in at the unoccupied terraced houses on Rutters Close, West Drayton, yesterday evening.


The fire partly damaged the first floor and the roof void of the building.

The Brigade was called at 8.56pm and the fire was under control by 11.03pm.

Fire crews from Hayes, Hillingdon and Heathrow fire stations attended the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
