Rowan Road scout hut gets lick of paint

ONGOING work to renovate a historic scout hut is coming along nicely- thanks to a new lick of paint.

Work to improve the 2nd West Drayton Scout Hut in Rowan Road, West Drayton received a boost when a paint company donated their materials.


Dulux provided several tins of paint, while volunteers from toy company Hasbro donned their overalls to get the building looking as good as new.

The refurbished hall will now be used by the various community groups, including a local playgroup and an old people's club.
