Balloon race to be held from Station Road

A VET is running a balloon race which gives participants the chance to win £100 and help a worthy cause at the same time.

St Martin's Veterinary Clinic, in Station Road, West Drayton, is hosting the balloon race to raise money for VetAid, a charity that provides animal care to traditional farmers in Africa.

The balloon which travels the furthest will be declared the winner, and the competition costs £2 per entry, and there is no limit on entries per person.

The cut off date for the winner's balloon to be found is October 23, when a winner will be announced.

The balloons will be released from the surgery on Saturday (26) and refreshments will be available at the clinic.

We'd like to hear from you.
