toilet_seat.jpgRELIEF is to be offered to Hillingdon residents- in the form of new public toilets.

The new toilets are to be opened in West Drayton this weekend as part of plans to boost facilities in the borough.

The toilets will be located in Station Road, West Drayton, and are among a number of restrooms to open in Hillingdon.

Another public lavatory recently opened in Barra Hall Park, Hayes, the list of those soon to open include Joel Street, in Northwood Hills, and Devonshire car park in Eastcote.

Kathy Sparks, deputy director, environment and consumer protection said: "The council is committed to providing decent toilet facilities for our residents and people who visit our borough and we are always looking at sites where we could potentially expand our existing toilets.

"The new toilets will be welcome additions to the 31 public toilets we already have in the borough."

Today- Thursday 19th is also World Toilet Day.

We'd like to hear from you.
