De Burgh Arms applies for lapdancing license

Posted by Dan Coombs on Dec 11, 09 01:14 PM in Useful Info

A PUB in West Drayton has applied to become a lapdancing bar.

The De Burgh Arms, in Station Road, West Drayton has submitted the application which must be considered by Hillingdon Council's licensing committee.

The application is asking for a license consisting of 'lap dancing, table dancing, pole dancing and will contain nudity and striptease.'

The lapdancing would be held seven nights a week, from 10am to midnight from Sundays to Wednesdays, and until 1am from Thursdays to Saturdays.

Anybody objecting to the proposals has until 30 December to make their representations in writing to Hillingdon Council.

We'd like to hear from you.

Just what West Drayton / Yiewsley needs to drag it further down into the tacky mire!
It's already like a human toilet...

What on earth is happening to Yiewsley and West Drayton.
I remember the days when it was a good community with decent shops. Butchers , bakers, greengrocers, various clothes shops of decent quality, haberdashers, hardware , three shoe shops to name but a few. All have disappeared one by one.
Now its the public houses turn to be dragged to the gutter. How sordid-lap dancing !!
The good people of the area will not be visiting the DeBurgh and I for one hope it fails miserably.
Cant they think of anything else to help boost sales. Probably not!!! How low can they go?

how dare they drag this area down more than it is
residents will just want to move away but with difficulty as the house prices will be alot lower as who wants to live near a degrading strip joint
please dont let this happen....
can you imagine the trouble that will be in that area full of drunks, fights,
i surpose one good thing the un employment will go down in that area as all the slappers may get a job
