An air ambulance arrived at the scene, as well as several police vehicles and the Fire Brigade.

Three ambulances attended the crash, which took place at 3pm.

The 11 year old boy was taken to Hillingdon Hospital as a priority by road.

Another patient, a 25 year old man, was taken by road to St George's Hospital with neck and back pain, while a man in his 20s was taken by air to the Royal London Hospital.

The car involved was a silver Vauxhall Astra, and it is believed to have been involved in a collision with a lamppost. It is unclear at this stage whether any other vehicles are involved.

Both sides of the roads have been closed and buses have been diverted, and there is a major traffic build up close to the M4 as rush hour approaches.

Entrance in and out of the business park which lies between Uxbridge, West Drayton and Heathrow is also believed to be limited.
